2nd Amendment

I have always wanted to go to the shooting range, but have never had anyone who could show me the in's and out's of gun safety until now! Randy and Roger, two family friends, took me to the shooting range! It was sooo much fun! I cannot wait until I can go back and practice some more so I can get my own gun! Wooot Woot!

AUGUST 22ND!

August 22nd is my birthday! This year I had quite the day. Lindsey took me to Plum in Costa Mesa for an amazing brunch! OMG! It was soo good. I even took my dad there in September because it was sooo delish. Anyways, after brunch I had to get ready to go to Barbie Shumar's wedding. I was super excited about it because she is such an amazing person and deserves every ounce of happiness out there. Her wedding dress was gorgeous!!!!!!!!! I cannot even say that enough times, but unfortunately I dont have any pictures of it for you :( After the wedding I went to the reception for a few hours and visited. During the reception, Julian and I planned a little weekend trip to Vegas. When I had gone to Vegas earlier in August with Lindsey we had a HORRIBLE experience with the Venetian so they comped me a free night on a Sunday (because most people have to work Monday's...jerks!) Julian and I decided to head out late Saturday and stay at a hotel downtown for 1 night and then move into the free room at the Venetian on Sunday, gamble a bit and then head home Monday night. It was so much fun! I ended losing a ridiculous amount of money and had NO luck at all. He on the other hand had great luck and won several times...but ended up coming home almost as low as me. Karma- he kept rubbing his winnings in my face when I was down hahaha...anyways...my birthday weekend was super fun this year!

Barbie's Wedding Shower

So I am not usually one who plays games at parties, but Barbie's shower was an exception to that. It was a small intimate little shower and I didn't really know anyone so I couldn't make a fuss over not wanting to play. Well, it turns out I should play more often! I won two of the three games :)

Harvest Crusade

I am not exactly sure the dates all the events this summer so I am just going to post them as I come across the pictures (which are scattered throughout my computer totally unorganized).

Jesi called and invited me to go to the Harvest Crusade this summer with her and baby. We were a little late because she was a little late getting off work so we got pretty terrible seats. Scout was a bit tired from playing all day so we only stayed for about 30 minutes so Jes could see the band she loves.

Harvest Crusade, the whole 30 minutes we were there, was great. The best part was the pictures I got of Scout. She is such an amazing little girl and never fails to put a smile on my face.

Actually, I lied. The best part Scout reminding us how pure and innocent children are. We were sitting listening to the band play. She learns music really fast so she started to learn the words to the song. She started looking around at people and noticed that they had their hands up and their eyes closed. So she copied them. It was the sweetest moment ever. I will probably never forget it.

Eye Alaska!!

One of my best friends brother's is in the band Eye Alaska. They toured the U.S. all year. The first weekend in August they played their last show of the tour in Vegas, so her and I drove out for the weekend for a little get away and to check them out.

By the way, she was 6 months pregnant at the time, so we didn't do ANY partying. We just walked around and ate!

G.I Joe Movie Premier

My friend Natalie knows someone who does P.R. at Paramount Studios so she gets to go to most of the movie premier. Well...sometimes she invites me. On August 7th, I went to the G.I. Joe premier with her, her boyfriend Chase and our friend Gabe. It was a lot of fun. The movie was at the Chinese Theater and the after party was at an awesome place in Hollywood (which I cannot remember the name of right now! ahhh!!!).

Dexter <3's to Swim

Well, I started working out of my dads house in July. Being that it is in Corona, it is just like Africa and about 110 degree everyday! I hate it! Dexter particularly hates the heat. He figured out just how to cool off- he jumps in the pool. I mean literally everyday, all day. I put him in the backyard at 9:00 and by 9:01 he is in the pool. He then loves to lay in the mud all day which mean he gets a bath every night. Its a good thing he is such a lover boy cause he is a lot of work.

Summer Days in the Pool

I was lucky enough to take Scoutie swimming LOTS this summer and had a blast! I cannot believe that she is only 3 years old and can fully swim on her own! I mean she even cannon balls and swims underwater like Ariel! Its crazy!

Wow! I haven't updated this is sooo long. I will do my best to get all the big events on with some pictures. This summer was amazing! I did so much fun stuff with all of my favorite people. Luckily, I had my camera with me for the majority of the time so I was able to snap some fun pics. Enjoy!!
